Rivian promises to start producing its sporty R1T e-truck soon

Rivian says it will soon unveil the sported-up variant of its all-electric pickup truck model, the R1T. The series will hit production soon primarily targeted at professional racing drivers – mainly those participating in desert endurance races, like the Baja 1000.
Each Rivian R1T will come equipped with dual electric motors joining their efforts for 750 hp (553 kW). This will enable it to run 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds. Once fully charged, Rivian claims the truck will be able to cover 650+ kilometers (400+ miles) of terrain at near-maximum speed at full load. Impressive!
Racing-friendly modifications by Rivian include increased ride height (360 mm / 14 inches), robust all-terrain tires 37 inches across, and reshaped bumpers optimized to allow greater approach and departure angles.
